Born from my love for the desert and passion for art and teaching, Desert Muse Studio is a place where art, community, and inspiration thrive.

As an artist, I draw deeply from the vibrant colors, textures, and contrasts of the natural world, creating everything from watercolor landscapes to fiber art and ceramics. My greatest joy comes from helping others unlock their creative potential, which is why I created Desert Muse Studio—a space where artists of all levels can explore, grow, and bring their visions to life.

My Story

When I’m not teaching or creating in my studio, you’ll likely find me wandering the trails of Joshua Tree, sketchbook in hand, soaking up inspiration from the ever-changing desert light and rugged, untamed beauty of the landscape. The desert is my muse—it fuels my imagination and challenges me to see the world in new ways. I love discovering small moments of wonder, like the shifting shadows on a canyon wall or the intricate textures of desert plants, and translating those into my art. These moments remind me why I chose to root my life and creative journey in this magical place.

One of my greatest joys is connecting with other artists and dreamers who are just as inspired by the desert as I am. Whether through collaborative workshops, local events, or casual conversations over coffee, I thrive on the shared energy of a creative community. Building Desert Muse Studio was a way to bring those connections to life—a sanctuary where art, collaboration, and inspiration converge.
